Megan Edge's Recommended Reading List

I love to learn through reading. I often have as many as 10 books on the go at any one time. I read on many different subjects and in many different styles. Clients ask me to recommend books to them as they journey through and in this life. Here is an ever growing list of books and authors that I have found inspiring, interesting, informative, fun, educational and useful in my practice and my life.

  • Leo Buscaglia Ph.D. - Living, Loving and Learning
  • The Seth and Jane Roberts books, especially The Education of Oversoul 7 trilogy - these books changed my life in my first year of university and gave me the language I was missing in order to communicate my thoughts about the Universe.
  • Yvonne Oswald - Every Word Has Power - changed the way I relate to words and language.
  • Sylvia Brown - some of her books I have found to be very insightful and interesting, especially Past Lives, Future Healing
  • Doreen Virtue - again, some of her books really speak to me such as Healing With the Fairies, which propelled me out of the Psychic closet.
  • Laurie Nadel - The Sixth Sense - The whole brain book of intuition, hunches, gut feelings and their place in your everyday life. - I based my first Intuitive Development class on this book.
  • Serge King - Kahuna Healing - Hawaiian energy healing
  • Dr Jason Cooper - The Power of Dreaming - there are so many books on dreaming, my favourites are the ones that acknowledge the healing and insight that can come from paying attention to our dreams. The Seth books speak of this a great deal.
  • Sanya Roman and Duane Packer - Creating Money - Keys to Abundance and Catherine Ponder's The Dynamic Laws of Prosperity are both good books offering understanding about how money is energy and how to create flow in one's life for the things and experiences we need and want.
  • Diane Ackerman - A Natural History of the Senses - I think it is very important to understand better the senses we are used to working with if we desire to expand our other senses.
  • Dora Van Gelder - The Real World of Fairies - I found this little book in a second hand store in rural Nova Scotia when I was in university. There were very few books that took the idea of fairies and elementals seriously so I was thrilled to find this gem.
  • Emoto - The Secret Life of Water - once again, there is so much more to see when you know where to look
